Nova Scotia Latest to Ban Transgender Discrimination

On Nov. 20, 2012, Nova Scotia proposed a bill that would make the province the fourth jurisdiction in Canada to add transgendered individuals to the list of persons protected from discrimination under the human rights laws (Ontario, Manitoba and Northwest Territories are the others).
