Statutory Vacation by Province – Paid Stat vacation for the private sector

We are finding conflicting information on paid statutory holiday requirements by Province. We are a private business in BC who until recently had employees residing only in BC. Now that we have employees in multiple provinces, we want to make sure we are observing, paying for and allowing time off for those statutory holidays.

Have you tried searching the HRI site? We’ve written extensively on stat holidays and the different rules in each province. If you can’t find anything, circle back with me directly at glennd@bongarde.com and I’ll try and dig it up.
