Hi,

I want to implement a sick leave policy for our comapny that is located in BC,ON and QC.
We have agreed to allow employees to take up to 5 sick leave per year.
Could you please clarify if employees are allowed to to take sick leave for a Dr appointment?
We wanted to impose a half day (4h) or full day (8h) of sick days options. Do you see any issues with that?

Yes, you can make DR appointments applicable for sick leave in your policy, and there is no issue with enforcing a 4 or 8 hour entitlement.
