I have an employee who works Monday to Thursday.  July 1 is a Saturday.  Do we pay her stat pay?  or maybe the question is, is she eligible for stat pay?

All employees are entitled to stat holiday pay for the 10 Saskatchewan stat holidays regardless of how they are paid or their hours of work. There are a few specific industries where there are special stat holiday rules:

Hospitals, educational institutions, nursing homes, hotels, and restaurants (full-time staff)
commercial hog operations
well-drilling rig operations
2023 Statutory Holidays
