Illness and Injury Leave (Bill 9)

Hello, I have read that Bill 9 has been proposed to amend the time for illness and injury leave from 17 weeks to 27 (Manitoba employer). Do you know where this is at? It doesnt look like the Employment Standards Code has been amended, but when I looked on the Service Canada website it looked as though the EI benefits have already been changed to 26 weeks (from 15).

This has still only been proposed and not ratified yet, but could be in the fall legislative session.
