Obviously you cannot go backwards, but you can implement an employee sign off sheet for all future safety training at a minimum. Work with you supervisor to create a simple training checklist for all of the equipment in the shop and have the employee and supervisor initial each item as they are trained. Of course, implementing and LMS (learning management system) and official training policy/procedure is a more complete solution.
