    Hi Expert,

    We are looking to discuss an issue that our sister company is having in the province of Quebec, which are different laws than here in Ontario so we want to be very careful.

    Please let us know who we need to direct our communication to.

    We are hoping that you can squeeze us in no later than tomorrow. We will only need about 15 minutes to discuss.

    As our President has just acquired a new company, and now we want to issue new contracts to them. The President is looking for laws around:

    Terminating the entire team and rehiring them with new contracts?
    Can we pay on a Friday instead on Thursday (5 days after their pay period)?

    We would appreciate a response today, and if you can give us a name, date/time that we can speak to someone about this no later than a day or two.

    I hear the urgency and I’m trying to figure out the best way to help you. The problem is that your Qs may require payroll expertise that my advisor, Alan McEwen, is way better suited to provide. I’ve forwarded your Q directly to him and asked if he would be willing to speak to u directly. I’m waiting for his response.
