My employer, located in BC. Is considering implementing a pandemic sick day policy. Right now, we do not offer paid sick days and there is a concern that employees will come to work out of need. Is there a way to implement this in a way that will not keep us on the hook for paid sick days once the pandemic is over?
Are we able to request proof of a negative test result as a condition of the pay and/or prior to their return?
