Hello, we are looking to hire someone that has a 4 week notice clause in their present employer’s contract. I have not seen this before. Are there legal implications if they only give 2 weeks notice? Thank you.

It would depend entirely on what that contract actually says.
Someone might want to have a lawyer review it, as it may not be enforceable, if not properly drafted.
