Understanding HR Policies: Workplace Violence

The OHS Laws require employers to protect workers from Violence and Safety. This can also include harassment and bullying from other coworkers. Once the employer becomes aware of a threat, they must carry out an assessment and take appropriate action to have it resolved. But how can an employer properly assess that threat to determine whether it’s legitimate, and if so what steps can be taken to address it?
