Feb 26: Yukon physicians, unions and opposition parties ripped the government for prolonged delays in payments to physicians and nurses in the territory. According to the Yukon Party, Yukon isn’t living up to its promise to process physician billings in 30 days with many claims remaining unpaid for 90 days or longer. None of this is helping the effort to lure desperately needed physicians and nurses to the territory.
