June 3: That’s the deadline to comment on proposed changes to OHS rules designed to give joint health and safety committees (JHSCs) a greater role in ensuring workplace health and safety. Changes under consideration:  

• Mandatory use of audit tools to measure JHSC effectiveness
• Minimum training requirements for JHSC members
• Clarification of JHSC’s role in employer incident investigations.
