Nova Scotia OHS officers carried out an Ontario-style “blitz” campaign targeting landscaping job sites across the province at the end of July. Highlights:

• 37 unannounced inspections conducted
• 88 orders issued for infractions
• Common violations included lack of first-aid training and use of personal protective equipment
• 51 warnings issued for lack of proper first aid kits and similar concerns.
