New Brunswick took a trio of steps to foster job creation in the province:

• Renewal of the Youth Employment Fund for 2016-17
• Allowing Small Investor Tax Credits for community economic development corporations and co-operative associations
• Reduction of small business tax rate to 3.5% (with a decrease to 2.5% scheduled for 2018).
