Key statistics from the new OSFI fact sheet on Registered Pension Plans and other savings plan coverage in Canada from 2003 to 2013:

• RPP membership up 11% from 5.6 to 6.2 million
• Members evenly split between males and females
• Proportion of active RPP members participating in contributory plans up from 75% to 85%
• Proportion of active members in DB as opposed to DC plans down from 82% to 72%.
