  • Discussions with financial institutions regarding aid for the estimated 1,500 small business owners affected by floods
  • Public information sessions regarding disaster recovery and rebuilding and relocation efforts
  • Government plan released discussing long-term recovery for affected communities
  • Advice to volunteer workers about hazards of working in flood-damaged buildings, wearing proper safety equipment and avoiding tasks not trained to do
