Human Rights Commission Report Regarding Mental Health or Addiction Problems.

The Ontario Human Rights Commission published a report profiling the condition of people in the province who have mental health and addiction disabilities. Key statistic: In 2011, unemployment of Ontarians with mental health or addiction disabilities was more than twice as high as people with other disabilities (22.6% v. 9%), and nearly 3 times higher than unemployment of Ontarians without any disabilities. Almost 7 in 10 with such disabilities reported suffering disadvantages at work as a result of their condition.
