We’re good to go. Here’s Alan’s reply:
Yes, your answer is fine.
There is no requirement that employees actually work the notice period.
Just that they be paid for this period of time.
If the person is unable to work because of the need to self-isolate, that doesn’t affect the notice period.
When the ROE is issued the reason for leaving would still be termination without cause.
