Just following up on the questions we ran by our payroll expert.

  1. If employees request a lay-off that is in effect them quitting.
  2. An ROE should be issued, showing Quit as the reason for leaving.
  3. The termination date is the effective date of the request, i.e. the last day the employee intends to work.
