Employees Not Satisfied with Their Current Job

A recent survey conducted by Right Management, the talent and career management arm within ManpowerGroup, finds job satisfaction is low among employees in North America. Indeed, two-thirds of employees in Canada and the United States are either dissatisfied or somewhat dissatisfied with their current job.

The survey finds only 19 percent of employees are satisfied; 16 percent are somewhat satisfied; 21 percent are somewhat dissatisfied; and 44 percent are dissatisfied.

Michael Haid, senior vice president of Talent Management for Right Management, points out that low job satisfaction impacts everything in the workplace, including engagement, productivity, recruitment, and retention.
